The Flag of Vaduz stands as a vibrant emblem of pride and unity, capturing the essence of a rich cultural heritage and a deep connection to the land. Its striking colors and elegant design evoke a sense of belonging and strength, inspiring a collective spirit among those who call this remarkable place home. As a symbol of resilience and tradition, the flag serves as a reminder of the shared values and aspirations that bind the community together, celebrating the beauty and dignity of its people. Embrace the spirit of Vaduz, where every flutter of the flag resonates with the heartbeat of its proud citizens.

The flag of Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein, features three vertical stripes in red, white, and red, with the central white stripe being twice as wide as the red ones. This design is derived from the city's coat of arms granted in 1932, which depicted a stylized image of Vaduz Castle, symbolizing the princely residence, and two grapevines, representing the region's viticulture heritage. In 1978, the coat of arms was updated to a quartered shield: the first and fourth fields display a red princely hat on a silver background, while the second and third fields show a silver church flag on a red background. The princely hat signifies Vaduz as the residence of the princes of Liechtenstein, and the church flag honors the Counts of Werdenberg/Sargans, who laid the foundation for the state's sovereignty in 1342. Despite the change in the coat of arms, the flag's design remained unchanged.

Thanks to the quality of this flag, you express your special attachment to Vaduz.
